Polyurethane Protection Pipes

Our company has developed and patented the submarine cable protection pipe made of marine-grade polyurethane. Specifically designed for telecommunication and power cables, it effectively resists mechanical impact and long-term abrasion in seabed environments, providing comprehensive protection for submarine pipelines and cables. The product is widely used in submarine cable protection, offshore oilfield development, and other marine engineering fields, meeting stringent requirements of various underwater conditions. Furthermore, owing to its excellent insulation and wear resistance, it is also suitable for protecting mining power cables and can be reused.

Material Properties

  • High elasticity & corrosion resistance: Cushions anchor strikes and other impacts; resistant to seawater corrosion.
  • Hydrolysis resistance & insulation: Delivers excellent hydrolysis resistance for stability in humid environments; provides electrical insulation to safeguard cables.
  • Cable compatibility: Will not damage the cable sheath, eliminating puncture risks.
  • Long-term durability: Engineered for complex seabed conditions such as subsidence and rock collisions; offers a service life of ≥30 years with superior wear resistance.

Design Features

  • Overlapping interlocking half-shells: Overlap and interlock for tight fit and self-alignment during installation.
  • Standard length 1.0–2.0 m: Lightweight sections reduce underwater installation time and improve efficiency.
  • Corrosion-resistant titanium strip fastening: Strips fit into uniform grooves and tighten — no measurement, easy operation.
  • Flexible material for bend compliance: Meets minimum bend radius for complex routing.
  • No barge crane needed: Lightweight design eliminates large crane vessels, lowering costs and complexity.

Sizes can be customized to accommodate various cable diameters and minimum bend radius requirements.
