Overview
This was a small but highly representative order for Nearshore Cable Protection. It shows how an articulated pipe can be matched with a flange and back plate (or anchor plate) to connect to beach manholes – a typical Shore-end installation scenario. You may find a similar need in your own project.

Challenge
We received an inquiry with cable dimensions and immediately recommended the appropriate articulated pipe. Later, the client requested matching flanges and a back plate to connect the pipe, but provided no specific drawings or parameters.

Our Solution
Our technicians developed a complete design plan and drawings based on the articulated pipe and cable size. After several rounds of confirmation and communication, the client confirmed the order and paid the advance.

Production & Quality Control
The flanges and back plate were required in small quantities and had to be customized. Despite the small order size, we followed every procedure rigorously to ensure product quality met requirements. After production, our QC team conducted physical installation and testing, and recorded the process with photos and videos.

Overview
A Middle East client approached us. Instead of rushing to quote, we engaged actively with their purchasing and project managers, confirming every detail – product drawings, quality requirements, test specifications – before presenting our tailored Cable Protection Solution. Challenge
The main challenge was the request for a Custom Articulated Pipe Y-connector with no clear drawings or parameters. Additionally, much communication took place around Chinese New Year – a time we could have been offline, but we stayed responsive.

We maintained efficient communication even during the holiday. Our technician designed the Y‑connector based on cable outer diameter and the matching articulated pipe. The design was quickly approved. On the first day of Chinese New Year 2022, we received order confirmation and payment – a welcome surprise during the pandemic.
